The Rider

Me: I'm a 17 year old art student that was bitten by the horse bug at a young age. I've only been riding since I was 10 or 11, so I sometimes I feel like I have to catch up to the people who've been riding since they could walk. I may seem lazy at first, but put me in a barn and I'm the most focused and driven person I know. I have an obsessive need to clean my tack all the time, and I can't seem to enough saddle pads. Or horse boots. Or bits. Yeah, I'm the "collector" type- but that's not all bad. I WILL ALWAYS BE PREPARED. Haha. I was born for the equitation ring, a natural little 2-point that I get compliments on all the time. However, I work really hard to get good at dressage because I understand the benefits it provides. I also just love love love galloping cross-country or going for a hack. I also very much prefer large horses. I think that being almost 6 foot tall with a 36" inseam makes this an understandable thing though.
